Hello, everyone! I’m Sergio, President of the Latin American Graduate Association (LAGRASA), and on behalf of the the Brazilian, Colombian, Chilean, Puerto Rican and Latin American Graduate Student Communities and Associations, I have the pleasure to invite you to our biggest event of the year: the 2025 Latin Carnaval at Penn State, a continuation of the highly successful event from last year. We want you to live, experience and enjoy this important Latin American tradition with dance, authentic food, live music, and interactive activities. The event is designed to be family-friendly, promoting a space to make memories, to network, and to create a sense of community and belonging.

The event will take place on April 26th at the Alumni Hall, HUB-Roberson Center from 4:30 pm - 10:00 pm. Our main performances include Live Samba music and dancing lessons from EducArte; Live bachata, salsa, cumbia, and Latin American rhythms directly from Jose Mijangos and La Fiesta Band; and an exciting performance from Dance4Joy. But that's not everything, we will offer the attendees delicious and authentic Latin American food catered by Juana's and The Cakeshop by Tati's!
